Welcome to High Street.
High Street is a vintage Rock and Roll band based out of Pottstown, PA. Playing both originals and covers from the 1950s and early 1960s, they are passionately reinventing the sound of rock's roots for the 21st century. Buckle up for hot renditions of classics by Little Richard, Elvis, and Eddie Cochran, then lean back for soft ballads by Dion, Buddy Holly, and the Everly Brothers. With their signature, snappy outfits and overflowing energy, you're guaranteed to be twisting the night away!
The name High Street is taken from the main thoroughfare in Pottstown, PA. Founding members Richard Thomas and former lead guitarist Nick DiDonato spent many years at the Ballroom on High developing a love for vintage dance. When they had the idea to form the group, they wanted the name to represent a place that felt like home. In 2023, they decided it was finally time to assemble the band.

High Street's first live show was in September of 2023. They've had many memorable performances since then, including multiple swing dances, car shows, and school sock hops. This past October they recorded their first debut album set to release in 2025.
The group now plays as a trio with current members Richard Thomas (lead vocals/guitar), Bradley Herring (bass/vocals), and Austin Bright (drums/vocals).
As High Street continues to evolve, our mission remains the same: Sharing the joy of music and dancing through the sounds of 50's Rock n' Roll. We hope to see you out there!
